Financial Aid Options

Students enrolled in our programs may be eligible for Federal Direct Stafford Unsubsidized Loans to cover tuition and other education-related costs.

The Pennsylvania Educator Incentive offers a

15% tuition discount

On up to 18 credits for the 2025-2026 academic year

To those certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, as well as individuals working in a PreK-12 setting in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Graduate students may be eligible for private loans. A private education loan is a type of loan that is made by private organizations such as banks, credit unions and state-based or state-affiliated organizations. They have terms and conditions that are set by the lender.

Eligible veteran students can receive tuition benefits offered by the GI Bill. There are several chapters of GI Bill® benefits, so it is the student and family’s responsibility to confirm their eligibility through the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Payment Plans

The Graduate Educational Payment Plan allows graduate students to pay current semester charges in three installments:

Installment
Down payment (due with enrollment): Equal to 40% plus your plan enrollment fee
First Installment: Equal to 30% of your plan total
Second Installment: Equal to 30% of your plan total

Frequently Asked Questions

Teaching assistantships (TAs), research assistantships (RAs), graduate assistantships (GAs), fellowships and scholarships are academic awards made by the university, academic departments and the Dean’s Office. Several graduate assistantships unrelated to a particular area of study can be obtained by applying to administrative offices. Loans are distributed by the Office of Financial Aid.
